until an ev canbe charged in 10 minutes or less from dead to full , the batteries are nottoxic and potentially deadly to get the materials for and dispose of, they cango further that 200ish miles on a charge and the electric grid isall renewables it wont matter much. Gasoline cars barely produce more emissionsthrough production to end of useful life than an ev meabwhile being easier andfaster to refuel and cheaper to buy, ev is propped up by government subsidies, hell tesla is only around because the government forced all us taxpayers to payfor them, they lose over $1 billion a year and thats with subsidies helping theprice and helping prop them up. only other company i know losing as much astesla is sears and everyone says sears is in death throws, asthey are so tesla rightfully should be too as a company that makesno profit from it products is not a business its a government aide leech
